Hi

I am trying to make a remote backup from an Axp-linux machine to a
i386-linux box. both boxes use RH-5.0.

I set up the .rhosts file in the /root of one of the machines with the
proper permissions.

when making dump in the remote machine I get:

DUMP: mapping (Pass I) [regular files]
  DUMP: mapping (Pass II) [directories]
DUMP: estimated 43973 tape blocks on 0.01 tape(s).
rdump: Lost connection to remote host.
DUMP: Bad return code from dump: 1

any suggestion?

regards

miguel
