It's not such a daft idea. If they base it on Linux, they'll have to
release the source code under GPL, so we in the market can determine
what we want by taking a basically sound idea and adding a bunch of
useful features to it and/or streamlining it, instead of relying on
Gatesy to think up what feature set we're all supposed to want.
