On page 38 of the RedHat Installation Guide, they give an example of
using "linux mem=128M" to tell the kernel to use all 128M of ram.

Having 128 M of ram, I found this interesting, but can't find any
further discussion on the subject!!!!

Why would the kernel not use all available ram?

By specifying the above boot option, am I doing something that can be a
potential problem?
