And what, if any, ramifications are there if you happen to be _already_
connected via ppp and these processes run? Do you get kicked off every
hour and five minutes past?
I've thought about the same thing (although I use 'dip') to collect mail
routinely during the day while I'm not at home (rather than get it all
at once) but I might stay connected for a long time at other times, and
don't especially want it to cut me off or something... :)
