Hi,

We are trying to get ypbind requesting the passwords and groups from our
local NIS server, which seems to work fine. The problem is that I do not
have any control over who's allowed to enter and who's not. I have tried
several entries in passwd (+name, +@certain_groups, -@certain_groups) and
nothing seems to have an effect on the workings of ypbind after a restart.
I do not even have to add '+::::::' to the password file to give everyone
access to the computer: running ypbind and setting the domainname correct
seems to be enough. I am running the updated version 3.3-glibc3. Am I
missing something, somewhere?

Alex
