Hi all,

I am still somewhat of a rookie at Linux, but definatly a convert from
Win95. Well I have finally gotten Linux set up the way I want with most of
the functions I need working. What I would like to do know is cleanup my
root directory a little so I have more space.
I have a stand alone system (as of now, I will try to set up a network with
my computers at home sometime in the future) and did a full install of Linux
5.0. I would like to now go through my root directory and get rid of the
stuff I don't need. The question I have is how do I determine, (not being an
expert at all) what I can safely remove and what I can't.
I relize this is some what of a risky thing to do but my root directory is
95% full and on more than one occasion I have filled it up.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

TIA
Dave
