Hi L. M. Marchese (and Others),
Thanks for your responses to my question on Netscape.
But I still cannot figure out this problem.
In my Web page, I have the following:
<IMG SCR="http://abc.com/~pching/images/lbook.gif" ALIGN="left">
where images is a directory under ~pching/public_html
This displays OK when accessing via Netscape 4.04, but displays
a broken image when accessing with Netscape 3.03.
Using your suggestion, I made the following changes:
<IMG SCR="http://abc.com/icons/lbook.gif" ALIGN="left">
where lbook.gif is under /home/httpd/icons directory. Still, I
see the same behavior: Displays with the Netscape 4.04 but not
with the Netscape 3.03.
I got a feeling that this is not related to the Apache Web server,
but related to the different versions of the Netscape. But on the
other hand, not every one has upgraded to Netscape4.04 - people
need backward compatibility. Right? I am must missing something.
Hope someone can point that out - appreciated!
Thanks!
Philip
