Hi,

I tried compiling the 3.0.32 kernel with the IPChains stuff in it on my
Cyrix-based machine last night, and I got a rude shock.

The build failed with the following messages:

gcc: Internal compiler error: program cc1 got fatal signal 11

I have gcc-2.7.2.3-8 installed, and have reinstalled gcc from CD, but to no
avail.

The same setup works fine on my laptop (with a real Intel processor). Has
anyone seen this before? What might have gone wrong?

Regards
