Verify that the path to the cyrillic fonts is indeed correct. If so,
check the permissions (they should be the same as the other
font directories). Finally, check for the existence of the fonts.dir
file. If it is missing, you'll need to recreate it by running mkfontdir
in that directory.

If none of these fix the problem, well I don't know what happened.
