I'd say confidently 'yes' on this.

Having attended Marc Andreesen's talk a month or so ago here in Silicon
Valley (and then going to the Netscape party in San Francisco) :) it
does seem likely that this will happen, but who knows when. Marc did
 mention Linux prominently though.

BTW, anyone tried cooltalk on Linux?
