If I use c:\windows\lmhosts file on a remote Los95 PC and "net use g:
\\samba_server\user_name", what are the bare minimum ports that I need to
open on a firewall in front of the samba server?
Will the mapping, "net use" only (no browsing), still work if only TCP
ports (say 137, 138 or 139) are allowed? If so, which TCP ports are
absolutely necessary?
Why I asked this is because I have a dial-up server outside of the
firewall, and the samba server is inside the firewall.
