Yes, the installation is done by using the RPMs. You can typically use the
following command as root to install RPM packages:
# rpm -Uvh packagename.i386.rpm
You can also find a bunch of contributed RPMs from
ftp.redhat.com/pub/contrib/hurricane/i386
