Hi,
I'm trying to figure out what popd and
pushd functions are for. Since they are
build into practically every shell, I
figured, its something I will have to
face someday. Is there any online
explanations of these features, or would
somebody care to explain them?

P.s. I read the manual, and it wasn't too
verbose, I deducted that popd and pushd
had something to do with "stack", at
which point I was completely lost...
