Hi all. I downloaded the jdk-1.1.5-6.i386.rpm from /pub/contrib/hurricane/i386 and installed it just fine. The compiler seems to work, and the $CLASSPATH variable is now defined to be /usr/lib/jdk-1.1.5/lib/classes.zip as a result of the install. The problem is that I can't run anything once I compile it. For example when I try the command java -classpath . program.class I get the message Unable to initialize threads: cannot find class java/lang/Thread kaffe gives me the message No library path set. Any ideas about what to do would be greatly appretiated. Thanks in advance. -Chris Lea [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- --------------------------------------------------------------- Chris Lea Lucid Designs, LLC "Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work." -Thomas Edison (310) 475-4727 http://www.luciddesigns.com --------------------------------------------------------------- -- PLEASE read the Red Hat FAQ, Tips, Errata and the MAILING LIST ARCHIVES! http://www.redhat.com/RedHat-FAQ /RedHat-Errata /RedHat-Tips /mailing-lists To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject.
