Are you certain that your upstream provider has delegated authority for
the .in-addr.arpa zone for your network to your nameservers? This is a
very common problem that we deal with all the time. do this:

if your network is 123.124.125.0-123.124.125.255:

your-prompt-here> nslookup
Default Server: yourserver.yournetwork.net
Address: 123.124.125.10

> server 209.143.0.10
> set type=ANY
> 125.124.123.in-addr.arpa

That should show you a list of the delegated nameservers for your domain.
If it is incorrect, contact your upstream provider. Replace the
123.124.125 with your proper network numbers. The 209.143.0.10 is a DNS
server I maintain, that is not going to know about your network, so it
will query the InterNIC, and get proper answers as to the authority.
If you have any questions, let me know, and give me the network numbers,
and I can tell you exactly what the deal is.
