The saddest thing is... that RS, like so many other companies, don't realise something basic here. it might seem to someone naive to software development, that you can trade quality for rapid release. But in actual practice, this is an illusion. In fact, high quality tends to come TOGETHER with rapid release. What happens, is that you end up spending so much time firefighting, that you have no time to turn turn off the gas cooker causing the fires. A perpetual cycle. Something I've found in practice.
