Allowing people to post and vent can be, and for the most part, is
productive to both user and producer of Rb as long as they are predicated
with trust and respect for one another.

Rb has to trust that when we take the time to file a report that 1) it
actually did happen - we did not make it up and 2) that we don't sit down to
pay attention to every keystroke and click that we make while using Rb. 3)
that they do not give us a very convenient way to copy and paste error
messages. (this actually violates Apple guide lines) Rb makes it very easy
for a user to conclude that they do not want to know about bugs with this
obvious and silly omission.

Users have to trust that Rb is not some nameless, faceless, bunch of suits
that are out to just take your money. They are a caring, proud bunch of
individuals that put out one heck of a good product. Users need to
understand the complexity of their product and their need to be viable in
the marketplace (make $$).

Frustration on the part of either party is certainly understandable. When
someone posts as a troll, acknowledge it for what dribble it is and don't
feed them (post). Posts by REAL employees here on the list are carefully and
thoughtfully composed. Users, and I include myself here, should attempt to
be as respectful as possible even the face of perceived silly problems with
Rb.

My $0.02. :-)
