Hi, you need to check step by step if your setup is correct:
1. does `ssh [user]@[windows-machine-hostname].local` give you a shell on the Windows machine? If not, something is wrong with your SSH setup. 2. once you've done this, does `where rdiff-backup` show you the right path? If not, you need to add the directory to your PATH, or move rdiff-backup.exe to a directory of your PATH (echo %PATH% should tell you which ones). 3. and normally, at this point, `rdiff-backup --version` should give you the right version, else something is really strange.
