from reading the rdiff-backup documentation, it seems that rdiff-backup is smart about hard links, i.e. doesn't duplicate content of hard linked files. (is this true?)
i wonder whether rdiff-backup is similarly intelligent about bind mounts and duplicate mounts. (will rdiff-backup save multiple copies of files if /mnt1 is bind mounted to /mnt2 and both are inclduded in the rdiff-backup?) (in any case, i recognize that it's possible to --exclude one of the mount points.) thanks for a great project! andrew _______________________________________________ rdiff-backup-users mailing list at [email protected] https://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/rdiff-backup-users Wiki URL: http://rdiff-backup.solutionsfirst.com.au/index.php/RdiffBackupWiki
