hi,
We got some problems with Radiator (v2.14.1) and LDAP (OpenLDAP v1.2.7). First
we tried to login with the use of SHA but it didn't work:
dns1# perl radpwtst -user andre -password ****
sending Access-Request...
Rejected
sending Accounting-Request Start...
OK
sending Accounting-Request Stop...
OK
Then we've tried to work it with plain password:
dns1# perl radpwtst -user andre -password ****
sending Access-Request...
OK
sending Accounting-Request Start...
OK
sending Accounting-Request Stop...
OK
It worked! But we wanna use an encryption, so we've tried it with MD5 we get the
same problem with the SHA.
I've used Digest-MD5-2.09.tar.gz and Net-LDAPapi-1.42.tar.gz.
Below U see my ldap.cfg:
Host ldap1.wish.pine.nl ; this a test host adres
AuthDN cn=radius,o=WISH, c=NL
BaseDN o=WISH, c=NL
AuthPassword **********
UsernameAttr uid
PasswordAttr userPassword
Also our AuthPassword is SHA but that one is working...!?!?!?! (Why?).
