Hi,
The 'broadcast' package produces a NOTE on r-devel-linux-x86_64-debian-gcc (not on the other OS) regarding the BugReports URL on my Description file. The NOTE (found here https://www.r-project.org/nosvn/R.check/r-devel-linux-x86_64-debian-gcc/broadcast-00check.html) says: "The BugReports field in DESCRIPTION has https://github.com/tony-aw/broadcast/issues/ which should likely be https://github.com/tony-aw/broadcast/issues/issues instead." I tried the suggested URL given by CRAN (https://github.com/tony-aw/broadcast/issues/issues) but it re-directs me to https://github.com/tony-aw/broadcast/issues/created_by/issues, which is not what I intended. The URL I placed on the DESCRIPTION file myself (https://github.com/tony-aw/broadcast/issues/) works correctly for me. It works on multiple different web browsers. It works whether I'm logged in on GitHub or not. It works also when I clear all my cookies on my browser. It works on browsers I've never used before. And it works - according to CRAN's own checks - on all other OS configurations. I know CRAN checks URLs differently, but it is weird that this NOTE is only produced for r-devel-linux-x86_64-debian-gcc, and not the other OS configurations. Is this a mistake on my part, or a mistake on the part of CRAN? If it is on my part, what did I do wrong? If it is a mistake on the part of CRAN, I would like to kindly to ask them to correct whatever happened on their side. Kind regards, Tony [[alternative HTML version deleted]] ______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list https://stat.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/r-package-devel
