I have upgraded R and am currently running the following version:
R version 2.10.1 Patched (2010-02-20 r51163)
Copyright (C) 2010 The R Foundation for Statistical Computing
ISBN 3-900051-07-0

The characteristics of my system are the following:
OS:  Linux 2.6.27.29-0.1-default x86_64
  Current user:  mau...@linux-326k
  System:  openSUSE 11.1 (x86_64)
  KDE:  4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3) "release 4.10.4"

JGR upgrading attempt generated the following errors On-line 
help files cannot be found  from JGR.
