How can I export an R object as a .txt file? As an example I have

You don't say what you want as output. It depends what you mean.
1) Do you want what appears on the console? then ?sink or ?
capture.output
2) Do you want to create a file with elements of an object? then ?cat
3) Do you want an ASCII file that R can interpret as an object? then ?
