Dear all,
I am running R 2.8.1. under ubuntu, and I need to install
the package "raster" but I get the following error:
> install.packages("raster")
Warning in install.packages("raster") :
argument 'lib' is missing: using '/usr/local/lib/R/site-library'

Warning message:
In install.packages("raster") : package ‘raster’ is not available
I had installed other packages without problem (like sp, maptools, spatstat
and adehabitat).
I tryed the install.packages as root.
Any hint are welcome.
