Hello Werner, Did you already try to use the new version of Tinn-R (2.2.0.2) and R in USB stick? I use it without problem!
A good idea is to have a backup of your system configuration also in the USB stick. Unzip it (in any place) and replace the folder Tinn-R where Tinn-R stores all ini files in the computer used and all yours preferences will be preserved.
