That's correct: REvolution Computing (whom I work for) is in the process of porting R and packages to 64-bit Windows. The development process has been underway for several months and is near completion. There will be a beta test in February and we expect to release in March. When the beta program is launched it will be announced at http://blog.revolution-computing.com , but if anyone is interested in getting involved sooner please let me know.
