I had the same problem of you in installing quadprog packages ?
Did you resolve it?
Can you help me?
the error is:
* Installing *source* package 'quadprog' ...
** libs
gfortran -fpic -g -O2 -c aind.f -o aind.o
In order to use gfortran please type either:
source /usr/local/free/gfortran.csh
. /usr/local/free/gfortran.sh
make: *** [aind.o] Error 1
ERROR: compilation failed for package 'quadprog'
** Removing '/usr/people/russo/R/i686-pc-linux-gnu-library/2.5/quadprog'
Warning message:
installation of package 'quadprog_1.4-11.tar.gz' had non-zero exit
status in: install.packages("quadprog_1.4-11.tar.gz", repos = NULL, type
= "/usr/local/free/gfortran.csh")
