For what it's worth, copy/paste between R and Word 2008 works perfectly. It
doesn't work at all for Word 2004...so that's at least ONE improvement (the
only one I've seen) in versions of Word.

In the R.app GUI, you can click the plot window and then select "Copy" from
the "Edit" menu (or press Command-C). You can now past the plot into most Mac

Have a look at ?png (There are other formats available)
Or, much better, a PDF file by selecting "Save As ..." from the "File" menu
(Shift-Command-S). You should then be able to drag and drop the PDF file into
Word.
