I am pleased to announce that rerddap v1.2.0 is now on CRAN. The major
changes are that 'tabledap()' now has the option to download the data as
parquet files if the ERDDAP server is at least version 2.25, and the data
frame created by 'tabledap()' now has the units as attributes. There are also
several minor bug fixes. The changes in 'tabledap()' should not affect any
existing scripts.

In some of our tests, the parquet file is 10% the size of the default csv file
- for large requests this can make a big difference in speed. As an aside for
people who roll their own ERDDAP access, starting with ERDDAP v2.25, both
grids and tables can be downloaded as parquet files, either with or without
metadata. A note is that many parquet readers do not appear to provide read
access to the metadata section.
