Name all your arguments (the vignette gets this wrong), including
siteNumber=siteNumbers.
Also, the vignette uses 'statCd', not 'statCD'.
dataAvailable <- whatNWISdata(siteNumber=siteNumbers, service="all",
statCd="all")
gives some results.
