My question was to ascertain whether anyone had a similar problem with their firewall before I make a request to the controllers of our firewall. With any luck, I might get information that will be useful in ascertaining where the bottle-neck is.
So far, nobody has indicated that they can use gutenberg_download if they're behind a firewall, which might indicate that it is not possible to do, whatever the firewall settings are. If that's the case, I may as well not bother trying to get our firewall warrior to work out what can be changed and still achieve what is considered necessary. Anyone succeed?
