The 'quadprog' pkg is not listed as a dependency or even as 'suggested' and 
there is no mention of 'quadprog' in the NEWS file, nor does a search of the 
'demos' code for a call to load "quadprog" produce a hit, and there is no 
mention of quadprog in the NAMESPACE file,  so the message while "clear" can 
still be considered "quite unexpected".
