"When submitting a package to CRAN you should use the submission form at http://CRAN.R-project.org/submit.html (and not send an email). You will be sent a confirmation email which needs to be accepted.(*) ... In either case, you can check that the submission was received by looking at ftp://CRAN.R-project.org/incoming/." (*) That confirmation email is sent automatically and instantaneously. It confirms you as a maintainer and the submission (not the acceptance). /Henrik On Fri, Nov 28, 2014 at 6:35 AM, Duncan Murdoch <murdoch.dun...@gmail.com> wrote: > On 28/11/2014 9:16 AM, Dan Vatnik wrote: >> >> Hi, >> >> I am the maintainer of the "traj" package. >> I have added a vignette to the package this week(Wednesday) and uploaded >> the new tarball to CRAN. >> I have not yet received a confirmation e-mail.I do not know if the e-mail >> is sent automatically or if a person needs to approve manually.
