Don't know if I understand your last comment but I surely don't think

Then *why* did you answer Ms. Botto's question about the Gumbel distribution with a pointer to the help on the *Weibull* distribution? I was very puzzled by this and thought that I must be missing/misunderstanding something.

Thankyou very much Frede. It wasn't any home I am just trying to put my grip on
distribution. Believe it or not, I came to know for the first time that weibull
and gumbel distributions are same. :(

Is this a home work problem?

The Weibull Distribution

Description:

Density, distribution function, quantile function and random
generation for the Weibull distribution with parameters 'shape'
and 'scale'.

Usage:

dweibull(x, shape, scale = 1, log = FALSE)
pweibull(q, shape, scale = 1, lower.tail = TRUE, log.p = FALSE)
qweibull(p, shape, scale = 1, lower.tail = TRUE, log.p = FALSE)
rweibull(n, shape, scale = 1)

Dear useRs,
I need some examples of gumbel probability plots in R. i'll be extremely
grateful if you could share the codes of a working example.
