Yes, starting from
http://www.r-project.org/
you can go to the mailing lists, choose the appropriate one, go to the corresponding archives and read all of it sorted by the most common criteria.

Best wishes,
uwe

Dear all,

I am fairly new to R and this list (this is my first post), so I am wondering
whether
there is a possibility to view posts on this list conveniently on a website
besides
reading my email.

I have in mind something like this :

http://www.ruby-forum.com/forum/4

for the Ruby programming language, where you get messages organized in threads,
sorted by latest posts, and you can click on the links to see a whole thread .

Is there something like this available for R-help also ?

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

Axel
