Here is a reproducible example: library(vars) data("Canada") mymodel <- VAR(Canada, p = 2, type = "const") myLL<-logLik(mymodel) AIC(myLL) Why does logLik(mymodel) say that df=NULL? Might this be the reason for AIC(myLL) being numeric(0)?
