Yes, I've added the appropriate repository to my sources.list file. I'm sorry, I should've mentioned I've followed everything in the tutorial you posted. Has anyone had issues the tutorial at http://cran.r-project.org/bin/linux/ubuntu/README couldn't solve? Thanks for your time.
