See the footer of this message. We have no idea what OS, what version of R, what type of help ....

That message does not appear in the R sources. Is it verbatim in English from R?

hi,

since lately i receive an error message when prompting ?help:
"help will not be available. path not found". It is not possible to get help
for any command. I don`t know why but it seems that i need to tell R the
right path for the helpfiles. How can i do that?

thanks a lot
cheers
