I have submitted another email into the list asking for the 2-15.2 version (sadly, I am not able to compile code in my working environment), but could it be that I am missing something ? Dear Tolga, just in case you are stuck using R 2.15.1 : Prof Ripley (and others I think) told you on November 13 when this thread started, that you should just the version of Matrix that *comes* with your version of R. (and then do *not* update Matrix, because you might accidentally get the one *compiled* with R 2.15.2 and hence only working there). OTOH, I'm pretty sure you'll find R 2.15.2 for 32-bit Windows rather sooner than later, if you really want.. E.g. if you use our Swiss CRAN mirror, http://cran.CH.r-project.org/bin/windows/base/ ( which ==> http://stat.ethz.ch/CRAN/bin/windows/base/ ) shows 2.15.2 for download.
