Hello,

x <- matrix(rnorm(12), ncol = 2)
y <- matrix(rnorm(24), ncol = 4)

matplot(x, type = "l")
par(new = TRUE)
matplot(y, type = "l")

I see 6 lines, for 2 + 4 columns. If repeating colors are a problem, use argument 'col'.

Hope this helps,

Dear useRs,is there a way in R to overlap curve of each column of two matrices( 19columns
and 365rows) and (17cols and 365rows) against single matrix (1 col and 365rows)?i used
par(new-TRUE) and "lines" command but both are not working.
thanks in advanceeliza
