I am seeing a peculiar installation problem with the R installation files for Windows:
R2.6.1 fails to install on MS-Vista with a file corruption issue. But, the same R2.6.1 exe does install OK on Windows ME. The same problem exists with R2.3.1: Fails to install on Windows Vista Succeeds install on Windows ME Succeeds install on Windows 2000 and Windows 98 so it cannot be the installation file. Has anyone seen this issue with Windows Vista?
