All, I think this is pretty basic but I couldn't find the answer in any source.
I have just built my own R for Linux (amd 64). It runs well, but R thinks that it only has 80 characters or so of screen width. I log on with Putty to the box and can stretch it as large as I want. Is there a simple way to tell R to use more screen width when displaying? >From whatami: OS RELEASE : Linux SLES9 CSG 3.0.1 KERNEL ID : 2.6.5-7.283-smp Thanks, Josh Josh Kalish Credit Suisse Please follow the attached hyperlink to an important disclosure: http://www.credit-suisse.com/legal/marketcommentary ============================================================================== Please access the attached hyperlink for an important electronic communications disclaimer: http://www.credit-suisse.com/legal/en/disclaimer_email_ib.html ============================================================================== [[alternative HTML version deleted]] ______________________________________________ R-help@r-project.org mailing list https://stat.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/r-help PLEASE do read the posting guide http://www.R-project.org/posting-guide.html and provide commented, minimal, self-contained, reproducible code.
