Dear all,
I have tried to import a SPSS file in R, but always get the following
message:

Error in read.spss("spss-data.sav", :
error reading system-file header
In addition: Warning message:
In read.spss("spss-data.sav", :
spss-data.sav: Variable Y6B_A indicates variable label of invalid
length 256
--- cut here ---
SPSS (ver 14) has no problems with this file.
Any ideas?
