Dear R People: I downloaded the binary for R-2.12.1 on Windows 7.
When checking help files, I got the following: > ?mean starting httpd help server ... done Error in shell.exec(url) : problem in displaying 'http://127.0.0.1:16945/library/base/html/mean.html' > I did check the URL in my IE browser and all was well. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
