Hello-

I would appreciate help with some of the features of the poLCA package.
I am validating a mental health screening instrument used in prison settings.
The instrument includes 30 items in 5 categories of psychiatric symptoms. My
plan is to conduct separate latent class analyses (using gender as a covariate)
for each category, followed by a higher-order LCA on the resulting groupings.
I am getting poLCA to work with no problem. However, I need to find a way to
save classifications for each lower-order LCA to the dataset in order to
continue with the analysis. This is also to validate the classes (or
"profiles") against other external criteria. The poLCA manual is not entirely
clear as to how to do this. Users who are familiar with the package may know
about the procedure I am referring to. If so, your suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
