I am very sorry. It's just that it's not my computer that the problem
occured on... It's at work. So I am going to see what distribution it was
when I get there. But I have no chance to know how R was installed... since
it wasn't me who installed it.
 But could you please tell me , at least, where the BLAS library is supposed
to be... so that I could check. I mean, is it supposed to be among the R
files, or (since I have read that it's a standard Linear Algebra library
used by many programs (not only R))
could it be somewhere in a different place ?

* Or does asking this really have no sense before I see the version of Linux
that is installed on that computer...
