GL, If you installed R using the OSX binary from CRAN, it does not include tcl/tk. You need to install the separate tcltk package that Simon has put together and is available from: http://cran.us.r-project.org/bin/macosx/tools/ You also need to have X11 installed, which is available from the OSX DVD in the Optional Installs section.
