I want to know how can I configure R in a Ubuntu to be a server. I am planning to use R in a Windows machine with Tinn-R, but I want R running at an Ubuntu Lucid machine. How can i do this?
One possibility is to use Eclipse/StatET on the Windows machine and configure a remote console (to be running on your GNU/Linux server). The StatET user list has posts with explanations on how to achieve this. http://lists.r-forge.r-project.org/mailman/listinfo/statet-user http://lists.r-forge.r-project.org/mailman/swish.cgi?query=listname%3D%22statet-user%22 Best, Tobias ______________________________________________ R-help@r-project.org mailing list https://stat.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/r-help PLEASE do read the posting guide http://www.R-project.org/posting-guide.html and provide commented, minimal, self-contained, reproducible code.
