Hi, I am performing a paired wilcox.test (ie wilcoxon signed ranked test) on
two samples for testing if they are similar.

1. I would like to test whether they are similar not at point 0 difference
rather than on a more flexible, ie if they differ by more than 5 units let's
say. Is this possible to be done and if yes how?
2. Very silly question, but what does the V value signify? I am a bit
confused as I am reading from different textbooks/sources each one using
different notations, so I am not sure what this measn and how to interpret
it.

Thanks.
