Good afternoon!

My question is more of a "is there a package for doing........?" an inference
regarding the mean, median, regression estimates, etc. by using the information
from dual frame surveys? (this methodology is based on the work of BANKIER
1986, SKINNER 1991, LOHR and RAO 2000...)

If one has 2 independent studies which both independently measure a trait of
a population, but both of them are constructed from 2 separate frames (which
TOGETHER refer to the population of interest), is there a possibility to infer
a mean, median.. for the population but taking into account all the info,
resulting from the 2 studies, with a specific package in R??

  Example:
"Frame A lists universities offering a PhD in statistics, and frame B lists
universities offering a master's degree in statistics; the frames overlap (some
universities offer both master's and PhD, but we don't know which) and together
cover all the universities offering graduate degrees in statistics" Lohr and
Rao 2000. Now suppose someone wants to study a characteristic of this
population but does so by taking 2 separate samples, each from its
corresponding frame. What package lets me combine the info from the 2 samples
for inferring something to the whole population?

Thank you and have a great day!!
